Our guess is many times.
There is much talk of how our world is more connected now than it ever was.
And in many ways that is true.
Yet in many ways we are more distant now than ever before.
Your “Global Village” can easily become an echo chamber.
Especially with things like social media, it is very easy, almost too easy, to surround yourself in a bubble. Without even noticing.
We are working to change that.
Our goal at Artache is to bring you the stories you haven’t heard, but need to.
There are so many countries and places in the world that are going through extreme disparity.
War, civil war, lack of opportunity and infrastructure. In some places getting clean water is a challenge. We’re in the 21st century, and clean water is a challenge.
Our goal is to bring you these stories, and share it with you through the beauty of the art created by people in these environments. Because we believe that even though things aren’t perfect, they can get better.
Through the art we believe we are able to showcase the strength & beauty of the people from these places, and the hope they constantly carry with them. We want to bring that hope to you.
